We were asked in November 2015 if we could clean and polish 1,200 sq metres of 50 year old degrading concrete floor slabs within a factory which were heavily contaminated with hydraulic oil and covered with many layers of old paint. We used metal bond diamond grinding discs of various grit sizes attached to our planetary grinders to remove the oil and paint then applied concrete densifier to harden the concrete and continued to polish with resin polishing pads of various grit sizes finishing with a clear sealer and buffing to a shine.

The factory manager is pleased that he now has floors that are easy to keep clean using their in house ride on scrubber dryers.

He is also happy that as requested the slabs have been finished to an 800 grit shine and have still passed all their health and safety tests for slip resistance
